Monique Abdul-Aziz (President) began her career in research more than 20 years ago as a research assistant and recruiter for a full-service market research company located in Michigan.
During that time, Monique discovered how “naturally curious” she was and built a reputation as a resourceful and reliable recruiter and researcher. She became responsible for telephone and on-site interviews and later effectively managed a full staff of phone survey interviewers, on-site interviewers and focus group recruiters.
It was Monique’s dream to establish a small, home-based consumer research recruitment business. Since its inception in the summer of 2005, The Recruit has become a competitive force for successfully recruiting qualified, targeted respondents for both qualitative and quantitative research studies.
The Recruit specializes in recruiting and surveying general market and multi-cultural consumers. However, over the years has earned a niche in African American recruitment. The Recruit team has been successful in finding respondents who fit very specific demographic and lifestyle profiles, building trust among their clients; ultimately giving The Recruit the reputation among its clients for the ability to “find a needle in a haystack”.
With integrity and honesty as their number one goal, they have a reputation for finding the especially harder to reach consumer:
· High income professional men and women
· Lower income consumers
· Millennials and Gen Z
· African Americans
· Healthcare professionals – physicians, surgeons, nurses, and health educators
The Recruit team consistently goes above and beyond to find the right respondent/consumer via networking, email advertisements, social media, purchase list when necessary and posting flyers within the markets where the study takes place. And, The Recruit’ssuccess rate has been consistently excellent!
